Role Responsibilities

• Possess strong understanding of avionics domain concepts and processes with specialization in the Verification & Validation of embedded avionics software.
• Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, Python, and embedded programming paradigms, along with model-based testing techniques.
• Lead development of common test architectures, environments, strategies, tools, and processes.
• Utilize debugging and simulation tools extensively, with knowledge of structural coverage tools such as VectorCover, LDRA, TCA, CodeTest, and TRACE 32.
• Apply deep expertise in DO-178 B/C certification standards and related supplements.
• Innovate in test methodologies and automation of test design to enhance verification effectiveness.
• Manage relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, applying engineering insights to drive technical improvements.
• Initiate and support Virtual Product Development (VPD) efforts and initiatives to reduce Requirements Design Errors (RDE).
• Have familiarity with Communication Navigation Surveillance (CNS) products.
• Experience with Flight Management Systems and Global Navigation technologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Change Impact Analysis processes (RA, DRAT), Tool Qualification, Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Requirements Flowdown Sign-Off (RFS), Certification Documentation, and SOI#3 Audits is a plus.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines such as Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science (CS), or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development, system engineering, or software verification, with at least 2 years dedicated to software verification and validation.
• Robust technical skills focused on software development and verification processes, including TSO certification and adherence to DO-178B/C design assurance guidelines.
• Strong familiarity with current verification methodologies and tools aligned with industry standards and trends.
• Demonstrated leadership in technical domains with effective stakeholder management capabilities.
• Highly motivated individual with the ability to influence technical direction and decisions.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• A proactive attitude towards contributing to technical advancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Good knowledge of Aero Flight Management products and associated business lines.
• A passion for exploring innovative solutions to challenges in verification and software quality assurance.
