Admission Manager

About the Role

The Admission Manager will oversee the entire process of student admissions at Navodaya Institute of Technology in Raichur, Karnataka. This role involves managing inquiries, coordinating admissions from initial contact through enrolment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The manager will also build and nurture relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions while supervising admission staff and collaborating with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end admission process from enquiry handling to final enrolment.
• Respond to prospective students and parents via telephone, email, in person, and digital platforms.
• Provide detailed explanations on courses, eligibility, fee structures, scholarships, and potential career paths.
• Coordinate application processing, verify documents, manage fee collection, and oversee enrolment procedures.
• Establish and maintain connections with students, parents, schools, junior colleges, and other institutions.
• Organize and participate in admission campaigns, seminars, educational fairs, and promotional events.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date admission records and generate periodic reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Supervise admission counsellors and front-office personnel.
• Collaborate with academic, finance, hostel, transport, and administrative departments to streamline admissions.
• Ensure adherence to university policies and regulatory guidelines throughout the admissions process.
• Proactively follow up with prospective students converting leads to confirmed admissions.
• Address concerns from students and parents professionally to guarantee a positive admission experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree mandatory; MBA or PGDM in Marketing, Management, or related fields preferred.
• Two to five years of relevant experience in admissions or educational counseling.
• Excellent communication, counseling, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with admission or CRM software systems.
• Preference for candidates fluent in Kannada and other regional languages.
