Job description
Role Overview
We seek a motivated and customer-oriented Admission Counsellor to enhance learner admissions and deliver an outstanding experience to parents. This role involves managing inquiries, guiding prospective families about our school's offerings, overseeing the admission process, and contributing to enrolment goals while upholding the school's principles and image.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly and professionally address admission inquiries via walk-in visitors, telephone, email, the website, and social media.
- Provide detailed counselling to potential parents and students regarding academic curricula, teaching approaches, facilities, and admission procedures.
- Organize and lead campus tours to effectively highlight the school’s academic programs, infrastructure, and distinctive features.
- Manage the entire admission process from enquiry registration, follow-up communications, assessments, documentation, fee clarifications, to final enrolments.
- Keep precise records of enquiries, applications, admissions, and conversion statistics using the school's ERP or CRM platforms.
- Work towards meeting admission targets through diligent follow-ups and fostering positive relationships with prospective families.
- Facilitate admission assessments, interviews, and coordinate with academic and administrative personnel.
- Establish strong rapport with parents by resolving queries and ensuring a smooth and pleasant admission journey.
- Assist in admission marketing campaigns, open house events, school functions, community outreach, and other promotional activities.
- Generate comprehensive reports on admissions, including conversion rates and enrolment forecasts for school management.
- Adhere to school policies, admission rules, and necessary documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor's degree in any field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Have 2 to 5 years of prior experience in admissions, counselling, customer relationship management, sales, or front-office roles, preferably within the education sector.
