Job description
About the Role
This position requires guiding students through undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admission processes by advising on available courses, eligibility criteria, and career pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling to students on UG and PG programs, admissions, eligibility, and career prospects.
- Assess students' academic profiles, interests, and career aspirations to recommend appropriate courses.
- Manage inbound and outbound communications including calls and visits from prospective students.
- Detail course specifics, fees, admission procedures, and necessary documentation to students.
- Perform follow-ups with prospective candidates and support them through the complete admission process.
- Keep accurate student records and regularly update admission statuses in the CRM or MIS systems.
- Meet predefined admission and enrollment goals.
- Collaborate with academic and admission teams to ensure seamless student onboarding.
- Maintain professional relationships with students and their guardians.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate degree preferred.
- Experience ranging from none up to 3 years in education counseling or admission roles is desirable.
- Excellent communication and persuasive abilities are required.
- Should be well-versed with the processes related to UG and PG counseling and admissions.
- Must be goal-driven and confident when interacting with students and parents.
Compensation
The role offers a monthly salary range between 15,000 and 35,000 INR.
