Role Importance
The Payroll Administrator is pivotal in delivering payroll services by managing employee compensation processes, ensuring accurate payroll execution, and acting as a trusted point of contact for employees, internal stakeholders, and external authorities.
Responsibilities
- Execute payroll processes including collection and maintenance of wage and salary data for company employees.
- Assist in calculating wages and salaries, managing adjustments, deductions, and withholdings while complying with all legal, collective bargaining, and internal regulations.
- Submit payroll outcomes to the finance department.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll.
- Handle and record time-related events and correct associated errors.
- Serve as liaison for authorities and health insurance providers concerning payroll-related data.
Candidate Profile
- At least two years of professional experience in payroll or accounting functions related to payroll administration.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and additional HR information systems.
- Solid knowledge of local labor and tax law, labor regulations, company agreements, and collective agreements.
- Excellent analytical skills, organized and solution-driven work style.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with excellent German and good English language abilities in spoken and written form.
