Acupuncturist

About the Role

We are currently expanding our Complementary Integrated Medicine team and seek skilled professionals to deliver acupuncture treatments in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role emphasizes employing safe, effective, and updated acupuncture methods to promote patients' optimal recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to the Ethical Code and Guidelines stipulated for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioners.
• Perform patient assessments, formulate, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Accurately document all treatments administered to patients.
• Supervise and guide Therapy Assistants to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Participate actively in educational programs and contribute to events planning.
• Continue professional development via ongoing education to maintain and enhance competence.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, the public, and fellow staff.
• Ensure compliance with the hospital's Service with Excellence standards, including all related policies such as infection control, safety, and human resources guidelines.
• Carry out any additional duties as required by hospital management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
• Registration as a TCM Physician or Acupuncturist with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) of Singapore.
• Holding a valid Practicing Certificate issued by TCMPB (conditional or full registration).
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communicative strengths.
• Between one to three years of practical experience in acupuncture practice.
• Willingness to work alternate Saturday mornings.
