Role Overview

The Acquisition Specialist role, based in Mumbai and requiring on-site presence, focuses on sourcing and securing residential properties that meet the company's standards for quality and value. This position demands thorough market research, detailed property analysis, and building strong relationships with developers, owners, and brokers to expand Homevera’s inventory.

Key Duties

• Identifying and vetting residential property opportunities through comprehensive market research and analysis.
• Engaging with developers, property owners, and brokers to procure suitable listings.
• Managing the full acquisition process including due diligence, document coordination, and obtaining internal approvals.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment with customer preferences.
• Monitoring acquisition pipelines and preparing regular acquisition forecasts and reports.
• Continuously optimizing sourcing strategies to expand and refine the property portfolio.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience in residential real estate, property acquisition, brokerage, or developer sales.
• Strong analytical capabilities to assess property data, pricing trends, and investment viability.
• Competence in conducting market research and acquisition sourcing to identify appropriate properties and neighborhoods.
• Excellent communication skills for effective negotiation and collaboration internally and externally.
• Program management skills to handle multiple acquisition projects, timelines, and documentation processes simultaneously.
• Relevant experience in real estate sourcing is advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and availability for local travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related area is preferred.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, CRM platforms, and basic data analysis tools is a plus.
