Accounts Manager

Job Overview

The Accounts Manager role located in Visakhapatnam involves managing comprehensive accounting activities including taxation, statutory compliance, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and oversight of cash flow.

Primary Duties

• Maintain accounting records and compile financial statements.
• Manage payables, receivables, vendor payment processes, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax obligations, payroll, and other statutory requirements.
• Develop budgets, monitor cash flow statements, and produce monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Oversee audit processes and enforce internal financial controls.

Required Qualifications

• Academic credentials in commerce or finance such as B.Com, M.Com, or MBA with a Finance specialization.
• Professional qualifications like CA Inter or CMA Inter are preferable.

Experience

• A solid 6 to 10 years background in finance and accounting roles, including at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, EPC, or services is advantageous.

Technical Proficiencies

• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books and Zoho People, along with advanced Excel skills.
• Competence in budgeting, MIS report preparation, and financial data analysis.
