About the Role
ASL Freight & Logistics is in search of a skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to take charge of our accounting functions. The role is based in Dehradun or Gurgaon, serving as a pivotal position to ensure smooth financial operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and bookkeeping.
- Manage customer and vendor ledgers effectively.
- Prepare billing and invoices with precision.
- Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations regularly.
- Handle trip-wise and vendor-wise billing and expense validation.
- Manage outstanding receivables and payables efficiently.
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance.
- Generate MIS and management reports timely.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Practical experience with GST and TDS compliance.
- Familiarity with logistics and transport accounting.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software like Tally or ERP systems.
Preferred Background
Applicants with previous experience in logistics, transport, fleet management, courier services, e-commerce, or service sectors will be given preference.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is responsible and self-reliant, capable of independently handling the company's daily financial transactions and accounting activities.
