Job description
Role Overview
The Accounts Manager collaborates closely with the MENA Content and Territory Manager to oversee client management within the Middle East and North Africa regions. This role centers around enhancing, managing, and expanding sales for client accounts, while maintaining strict back-office procedures in CRM updates, contract handling, payments, and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with executive-level stakeholders including C-Level management, directors, editors, and journalists.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through research and client prospecting.
- Coordinate with Customer Service and Marketing teams to qualify inbound sales leads.
- Create and present compelling sales proposals to prospects, targeted accounts, and existing clients to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director in strategizing to optimize revenue from target accounts.
- Provide proactive, trusted thought leadership to client accounts.
- Stay informed of industry trends, products, and services to maintain competitive advantage.
- Prepare and submit activity reports and sales forecasts regularly, ensuring CRM data is current.
- Develop a thorough understanding of client organizations to foster customer intimacy.
- Identify and penetrate new client accounts to broaden business opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- Proven experience in B2B client account management and sales.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is essential; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Strong ability to establish rapport with existing and potential clients.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration capabilities.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Knowledgeable about the media sector, including media landscape and production.
