Accounts Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant to take charge of comprehensive accounting operations at our Surat-based manufacturing firm. The candidate will oversee financial reporting, ensure statutory compliance, and maintain seamless coordination with external agencies.

Primary Duties

• Validate and post accounting entries accurately to reflect all financial transactions.
• Manage core accounting functionalities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, ledger maintenance, bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Compile and upkeep key financial documents such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow reports, and management information systems (MIS) reports.
• Adhere to timely compliance related to GST, TDS, TCS, and other regulatory mandates.
• Liaise effectively with chartered accountants, banks, statutory auditors, and government agencies.
• Administer accounting processes linked to import/export and related documentation.
• Oversee banking transactions associated with cash credit and overdraft accounts.
• Facilitate both internal and external audit processes by preparing and furnishing necessary documentation.
• Implement and monitor financial controls ensuring conformity with accounting standards and organizational policies.
• Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and offer financial insights for management decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• Commerce degree holder (B.Com or M.Com).
• At least six years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing sector.
• Male candidates preferred.

Skills and Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Tally ERP software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance norms.
• Experienced in internal audits and establishing financial controls.
• Familiar with accounting procedures for import/export transactions.
• Knowledgeable about banking operations involving cash credit (CC) and overdraft (OD) accounts.
• Competent in preparing balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
• Strong analytical aptitude along with problem-solving and reporting capabilities.
• Good communication skills to handle coordination efficiently.

Compensation

Monthly remuneration ranges between 25,000 to 40,000 INR based on experience and qualifications.
