Accounts Executive

Overview

Finbook Advisors is seeking a skilled and accountable Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks for various clients, including performing accounting duties at clients’ locations when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping independently for multiple clients.
• Handle entries related to sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journals, and other accounting activities.
• Keep ledgers, cash books, bank books, and other financial records up to date.
• Perform reconciliation of bank statements and customer/vendor accounts.
• Apply basic practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and routine accounting compliance requirements.
• Support in calculating GST and TDS, reconciling accounts, and preparing related documentation.
• Visit clients’ business sites when on-site accounting or coordination is necessary.
• Liaise with clients to gather financial documents and resolve accounting-related issues.
• Maintain precise records and ensure all assigned tasks are completed promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com) or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Between 1 and 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles.
• Capability to independently manage standard accounting operations.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory financial compliance procedures.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime or similar accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel to clients’ premises as required.

Remuneration and Benefits

• Salary ranges from ₹10,000 to ₹25,000 monthly, adjusted according to experience and skills.
• Reimbursement of conveyance expenses for authorized client visits is provided based on company policy.

Location

The position is based at Finbook Advisors, Ahinsa Tower, M.G. Road, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
