Within TechBuzz Hub operates the Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP), an intensive skilling initiative offering graduates, career changers, and holiday makers the chance to gain two years of experience within three months. The program includes work exposure, mentorship, coaching, networking, and improved employability prospects. Participants begin earning prior to program completion, with an 80% likelihood of job placement based on performance and dedication. The program is highly selective, enrolling only five candidates per cohort.

Role Overview

This full-time position as a Finance and Accounting Trainee begins on April 1, 2026, located primarily at the Kampala office with occasional field duties. The trainee will engage in learning and operating accounting software, performing data entry, assisting with financial statement preparation, applying analytical techniques to evaluate financial records, and supporting various finance-related functions.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (pursuing or completed degree)
• Fundamental knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and accounting software
• Skills in risk and financial management, financial planning, cashflow forecasting, and investment analysis
• Strong analytical thinking and communication abilities
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
