Job description
Overview and Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager with a valid CPA license and proven leadership capabilities. The role requires comprehensive expertise in both public and private accounting, specifically over four years, with an emphasis on month-end closing, financial statement analysis, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Advanced proficiency with Excel and excellent communication skills are essential. The working hours are aligned with the Eastern Standard Time zone, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare accounting and multi-entity accounting environments.
- Proficiency with PeopleSoft, BlackLine, and ERP or accounting software implementations.
- Knowledge of lease accounting, grants management, Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and reimbursement processes.
- Engagement in process improvement and automation projects.
