Accountant

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Accountant to join our Finance Department to support our expanding operations and financial management efforts in the travel and tours sector. This role is pivotal for ensuring reliable financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and providing strategic insights that aid business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the precision of financial statements and reports while adhering to accounting standards and organizational policies.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, manage month-end and year-end closings, and oversee complex accounting tasks.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to deliver insightful input to management.
• Manage audit coordination, maintaining communication with external auditors, tax entities, and regulatory bodies.
• Guide junior accounting personnel, strengthen internal controls, and optimize financial operations for increased efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional certifications like CPA or ACCA are preferable.
• At least five years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Arabic language is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance regulations.
