Accountant

About the Role

We seek an experienced Accountant with 4 to 5 years in accounting, GST compliance, reconciliations, and routine financial processes. Candidates possessing robust knowledge in accounting and GST, coupled with experience managing accounts and reconciliations for e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Blinkit, or similar, are highly preferred. However, candidates lacking direct e-commerce experience but exhibiting strong accounting fundamentals, GST expertise, and skill in handling online platform transactions independently will also be evaluated.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting tasks ensuring precise bookkeeping.
• Document sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, journal entries, and other finance-related transactions accurately.
• Manage GST compliance including filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and performing GSTR-2B reconciliation.
• Accurately calculate GST liabilities and input tax credit eligibility, ensuring correct reconciliation.
• Handle accounting, reconciliation, and compliance related to TDS.
• Conduct reconciliations across bank statements, vendor accounts, customer ledgers, and general ledger.
• Maintain detailed documentation supporting statutory and accounting compliance.
• Detect and rectify discrepancies in accounting records promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• 4 to 5 years of pertinent accounting experience.
• Solid grasp of accounting principles and journal entry preparation.
• Practical experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance frameworks.
• Comprehensive understanding of bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to independently execute accounting and compliance duties, identify issues, and take responsibility for reconciliation processes.
• Comfortable operating with e-commerce and online frameworks.
• Preference for candidates demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities and practical knowledge over purely theoretical expertise.

Location: Vasundhara, Ghaziabad. Salary up to 4.8 LPA. Experience requirement: 4–5 years.
