Accountant

Job Overview

Wejoy is seeking an experienced accountant to independently manage revenue accounting and monthly closing for multiple entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant bookkeeping. This role requires process improvement initiatives and implementation of automation tools to increase efficiency and reporting quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage revenue accounting and monthly financial closing for multiple entities with accuracy and compliance.
• Improve revenue recognition and month-end closing processes by creating automated reconciliation dashboards and voucher verification rules.
• Drive the adoption of automation technologies such as AI and RPA in accounting and reconciliation tasks to enhance financial digitalization.
• Support standardization of team processes and assist with audit, tax, settlement, and cash management related tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance; CPA/ACCA certification is a plus.
• Minimum two years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in internet, gaming, or related industries.
• Proficient in IFRS and US GAAP revenue recognition standards; advanced expertise in financial software and Excel analytics.
• Strong process optimization mindset with experience or knowledge in AI, Python, RPA, BI dashboards, or API-based data integration projects preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English, capable of independently handling bank reconciliations and multi-currency accounting.
• High data sensitivity, clear logical thinking, proactive attitude, and effective cross-department collaboration skills.
