Role Overview

The Accountant position is based in Dubai and entails full-time, on-site responsibilities managing the studio's daily financial operations. Core duties include recording and maintaining accurate transaction records and ledgers, reconciling bank and company accounts, and preparing financial statements. The Accountant will oversee budget tracking, handle accounts payable and receivable, ensure punctual invoicing, manage payroll data, and support cost control particularly for production projects. Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and UAE financial regulations is essential. Additionally, the role includes collaboration with management for reporting, audit support, and providing financial insights to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting practices, including ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to aid project and operational decisions.
• Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and relevant financial information systems.
• Familiarity with applicable accounting regulations, basic taxation, and UAE financial compliance.
• High attention to detail, accuracy in numerical data, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication capabilities and ability to coordinate with production, operations, and management teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; additional professional certification or QuickBooks knowledge is advantageous.
• Prior accounting experience ideally in media, creative, or production sectors is preferred.
