Accountant

About the Position

The Accountant role is based in Gorenje Vetërnik, Prishtinë, responsible for managing accurate and timely accounting of incoming and outgoing payments through bank and cash accounts. The role involves daily use of accounting software to record transactions, preparing monthly and annual financial reports, and providing financial data support to the Controller for internal analysis, reporting, and auditing purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure precise and punctual recording of all payment transactions via bank and cash accounts.
• Maintain daily accounting entries using specialized software.
• Supply financial information as requested by the Controller to support internal analyses, reporting, or audit processes.
• Assist in preparing monthly and yearly financial statements under the guidance of the Controller or Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an identical or similar accounting role.
• Preferably holding a higher professional education degree.
• Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft programs.
• Knowledge of English language is considered an asset.
