We seek a committed and meticulous individual to join our Finance and Accounting team to maintain precise financial records, ensure regulatory adherence, and facilitate efficient financial operations.

About the Role

The role involves supporting daily accounting and financial processes, accurately recording transactions, maintaining financial documentation, and assisting in financial report preparation in line with company standards, accounting principles, and Saudi Arabian regulations.

Responsibilities

• Document, scrutinize, and sustain daily accounting entries and journal records.
• Review supporting documentation to confirm transaction accuracy and completeness.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and address any inconsistencies.
• Examine invoices, expenses, and payment proofs to ensure correct accounting categorization.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closures.
• Create periodic accounting and financial reports as requested by management.
• Support the drafting and examination of financial statements.
• Maintain fixed asset logs and compute depreciation values.
• Compile necessary documentation and backup schedules for both internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support compliance with accounting regulations, VAT, Zakat, and other statutory requirements.
• Undertake additional accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree specialized in Accounting or a closely related discipline.
• Mandatory valid membership or registration with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA).
• Preferred 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
• Sound understanding of accounting standards, principles, and financial regulations valid in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software platforms.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle systems is a plus.
• Good command of the English language.
