Job Overview

Wingubox Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant located in Syokimau, Machakos County, Kenya. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of three years' experience in accounting within the retail sector and possess a University or College degree as well as CPA-K certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliation of bank statements and generate weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
• Prepare monthly tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory remittances.
• Analyze creditor aging and reconcile supplier statements accurately.
• Compile management accounts and financial reports with precision.
• Manage comprehensive accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking operations, and cash controls.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and books of accounts.
• Regularly review accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• University/College Degree in any related discipline.
• Certification: CPA-K
• Proficient in accounting software and ERPs, including QuickBooks.
• Strong motivation, precision, and commitment to delivering results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
