About the Role

Hotel Surya in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh seeks a meticulous and accountable individual for the position of Accountant to oversee daily financial operations and maintain accurate records.

Primary Duties

• Maintain comprehensive daily accounting and financial transaction records
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Generate invoices, bills, and maintain payment documentation
• Oversee cash and bank transactions including reconciliation tasks
• Keep ledgers and other financial documents updated and accurate
• Support compliance efforts for GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
• Prepare routine financial summaries and reports
• Liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
• Ensure prompt and precise accounting operations are upheld

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior accounting experience is preferred
• Proficient with Tally or Tally Prime software and Microsoft Excel
• Fundamental knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles
• Demonstrates strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Effective organisational skills and clear communication capabilities
• Experience in hospitality or hotel accounting is beneficial
