About the Role

Go Plane Private Limited, a reputable IATA-accredited travel agency based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is seeking a skilled Accountant to enhance its finance team. The successful candidate will focus on managing airline accounts, BSP and TRAACS operations, and ensuring compliance with statutory financial regulations.

Primary Duties

• Oversee daily financial transactions including accounts, vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Administer TRAACS accounting data alongside airline sales operations.
• Manage BSP settlements and maintain financial records related to airline ticketing.
• Create comprehensive reports, account reconciliations, and financial statements using Excel.
• Supervise receivable and payable accounts as well as cash flow activities.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, TDS/VDS, and related statutory requirements.
• Assist with both internal and external audits and handle tax return documentation.
• Keep financial documents precise and systematically organized.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Possesses 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the travel or airline sector.
• If experienced with TRAACS accounting software, it will be highly beneficial.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required for reporting and data handling.
• Deep understanding of VAT and Tax legislations as applicable in Bangladesh.
• Demonstrates meticulous attention to financial detail and accountability.

Location

This position is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh and requires onsite presence.
