Job description
Overview
Ulhas Buildtech Private Limited is seeking a meticulous and dependable Accounts & Finance professional to handle daily accounting tasks, ensure the precision of financial records, and assist in the company’s financial management and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise accounting records including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and manage invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Liaise with auditors during both internal and statutory audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts regularly.
- Process payroll and ensure adherence to PF, ESI, and other statutory deductions.
- Manage petty cash and track expense reports.
- Provide management with MIS reports and conduct financial data analysis.
- Adhere to accounting standards and internal company policies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance).
- Demonstrated experience working in accounting or finance roles.
- Competency with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or equivalents.
- Strong command of MS Excel including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Excellent numerical aptitude coupled with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Experience in financial modeling or forecasting tools.
- Previous exposure to industries such as manufacturing, retail, or IT is advantageous.
