Accountant - Export Business

About the Role

Oberoi Refining Industry Pvt. Ltd., based in Delhi, is seeking a proficient Accountant with a focus on export and international trade accounting. This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence, offering a monthly salary ranging from ₹17,000 to ₹35,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed books of accounts, ledgers, and perform bank reconciliations using Tally or ERP systems.
• Prepare and manage export invoices, packing lists, and all shipping-related documentation accurately.
• Oversee GST compliance, file LUT, and ensure adherence to export regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and track Letters of Credit (LC), Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates (FIRC), and Bank Realization Certificates (BRC) relevant to export payments.
• Collaborate with banks, Customs House Agents (CHA), and freight forwarders to facilitate payment and documentation processes.
• Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports, schedule payments, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Liaise effectively with auditors to guarantee timely completion of statutory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally concentrated in export or international trade accounting.
• Academic qualifications of B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficient in Tally accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of GST regulations and export documentation including LC, FIRC, and BRC.
• Highly detail-focused, precise, and capable of working autonomously.
