Accountant

About the Role

Duruper is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their Bengaluru-based team, working full-time onsite. The position offers an annual compensation range between INR 360000 and INR 600000. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle journal and ledger entries using Tally software.
• Compile financial reports, statements, and carry out reconciliations diligently.
• Facilitate the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closure of accounts.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns including GST, TDS, Professional Tax, ESI, EPF, and Income Tax.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, particularly with respect to foreign multinational corporation regulations.
• Manage aspects of international taxation, especially related to FEMA and Foreign Direct Investment.
• Lead and supervise accounting teams as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
• Proven expertise in Tally, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Familiarity with both direct and indirect taxation, along with statutory compliance norms.
• Experience handling international taxation matters is an advantage.
