Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our energetic team, handling financial operations spanning Singapore and international entities. This position requires ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with group-wide financial protocols. You will play a key role in financial reporting, system enhancement, and cross-departmental collaboration to support sound decision-making and optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive accounting tasks for both Singapore and overseas entities, guaranteeing precise and punctual financial reports.
• Prepare financial statements, consolidated reports, and statutory submissions in accord with regulatory and accounting guidelines.
• Handle tax submissions and ensure compliance with local and foreign financial regulations.
• Facilitate the integration of global entities into the headquarters' accounting systems and frameworks.
• Work closely with IT teams to advance financial systems and reporting mechanisms.
• Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to improve process efficiency and reinforce financial controls.
• Collaborate with project and business teams by providing financial data analysis and decision support.
• Offer financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive business expansion and planning.
• Undertake special projects or assignments as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory; experience in technology or similarly fast-paced industries is advantageous.
• At least five years of accounting experience, including exposure to big four firms and corporate finance teams.
• Excellent command of financial tools and software, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical reasoning paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and determined to pursue continuous professional development with clear career goals.
• Familiarity with both local and international financial reporting standards and taxation compliance.
