Role Overview

As part of our ongoing expansion plans, we are seeking a dedicated Accountant to oversee accounts receivable activities, ensure prompt collection of outstanding debts, and maintain precise financial records in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate tax invoices to clients, ensuring timely delivery.
• Process incoming payments through checks, electronic transfers, and credit card transactions, maintaining accurate financial documentation.
• Perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque, and credit card transactions to guarantee financial accuracy.
• Reconcile payments against accounts receivable records, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies encountered.
• Support financial statement preparation, reconcile sub-ledgers with the general ledger, respond to inquiries, and utilize strong bookkeeping expertise to uphold financial integrity.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• University degree in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum of four years experience in a similar accounting role.
• ACCA certification is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial software packages, and data visualization tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial information effectively to financial and non-financial audiences.
• Keen attention to detail.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of an additional language is considered advantageous.
