Role Overview

The Accountant at Kulwanti Hospital is responsible for managing the financial aspects unique to the healthcare sector. This includes handling complex tasks such as medical billing, health insurance claims, payment management for medical personnel, and oversight of medical supplies and equipment inventories, all while adhering to healthcare regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the revenue cycle including patient invoicing and processing claims with insurance providers and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
• Compute payouts, bonuses, and incentives for visiting and full-time medical consultants and staff.
• Coordinate with procurement to audit and track valuable medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and surgical supplies.
• Support hospital leadership in analyzing and setting tariffs for room rates, diagnostic services, and surgical procedures.
• Ensure statutory compliance by preparing and filing healthcare-specific tax returns, managing TDS, and overseeing GST matters.
