Accountant

Job Overview

Kent is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position entails working 48 hours per week and requires strong expertise in accounting and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare all accounting entries within designated corporate deadlines.
• Timely creation of invoices aligned with contractual commercial terms.
• Effective management of cash flow to ensure financial stability.
• Precisely report and analyze financial results.
• Calculate billing and cost rates and analyze profit margins to maintain profitability.
• Develop annual plans and quarterly reforecasts in collaboration with Business Management and Finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with financial management frameworks within assigned areas.
• Focus on cash collections, optimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), minimizing unbilled items, and ensuring accurate reconciliation and control of balance sheet components.
• Coordinate with internal, external, and client auditors.
• Work closely with business managers and contracts administrators on contractual matters.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and other assigned tasks.
• Provide support to fellow accountants within the business.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years' experience in accounting roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Solid commercial understanding.
• Experience with enterprise systems such as Oracle and related platforms.
• Academic qualification from college or university in accounting.
• Currently pursuing or completed recognized certifications like CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalents.
• Membership or compliance with Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) is mandatory.
