Accountant

Overview

Ravetllat Aromatics is expanding its Dubai branch and looking to hire a skilled Accountant to join their Middle East subsidiary. This position plays a critical role in managing the company’s daily accounting activities, ensuring precise records, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately post all accounting transactions and journal entries while maintaining the general ledger.
• Carry out bank reconciliations, handle cheque and cash deposits, and oversee banking processes.
• Track and record customer payments, generate Statements of Account, and diligently follow up on overdue balances.
• Assist in preparation, filing, and compliance related to VAT and Corporate Tax obligations.
• Work in coordination with the Finance and Accounting headquarters to deliver requested financial reports and data.
• Implement and maintain e-invoicing standards and ensure accurate invoicing documentation.
• Guarantee complete, precise, and well-supported accounting documentation at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and company information.
• Support close of accounts activities including month-end, year-end closings, audits, and other general accounting tasks as directed by management.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline; professional accounting certifications are advantageous.
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, ideally within the UAE context.
• Strong familiarity with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, precision, and a high level of confidentiality.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with headquarters, management, customers, banks, and external consultants.
