About the Role
Desirenest Properties Private Limited seeks a meticulous and dependable Accountant to oversee daily bookkeeping, maintain comprehensive financial records, and assist the finance and management teams with precise financial reporting in a real estate setting based in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and record maintenance.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Generate and organize invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and relevant accounting documentation.
- Conduct reconciliations of bank statements, cash accounts, and ledgers.
- Maintain and follow up on payments for customer and vendor accounts.
- Support compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory financial regulations, including documentation.
- Produce monthly financial reports, statements, and management information systems (MIS) analyses.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure thorough documentation and filing of all financial records.
- Track expenses on a per-project basis and help manage accurate cost accounting.
- Assist with salary processing, reimbursements, and incentive accounting activities.
- Ensure the punctual and accurate closure of monthly accounts.
- Perform additional finance and accounting duties as delegated by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Have 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Experience in real estate or construction sectors is advantageous.
- Proficient with Tally or other ERP software and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance obligations.
- High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
- Effective communication and coordination capabilities.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
Skills and Tools
The ideal candidate should be adept at using Tally or ERP systems, MS Excel, and understand GST, TDS compliance. Expertise in bank reconciliations, MIS reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and financial documentation is essential.
Compensation
The offered monthly salary ranges between 20,000 and 23,000 INR.
