Account Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager responsible for overseeing comprehensive accounting operations. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, leading the accounting team, and supporting organizational financial planning.

Primary Duties

• Manage complete accounting functions including maintaining books of accounts, ledger examinations, and performing reconciliations.
• Prepare and finalize accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in alignment with relevant accounting standards.
• Create and scrutinize financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss accounts, Cash Flow statements, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Lead the accounts team by delegating responsibilities and guaranteeing timely completion of accounting tasks.
• Ensure adherence to various statutory compliance requirements such as GST, Income Tax, and TDS filings.
• Liaise actively with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Oversee the control and review of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and inter-company financial accounts.
• Monitor and manage budgeting activities, financial forecasting, and cost control measures.
• Ensure operations comply with the Companies Act, established accounting policies, and internal controls.
• Assist management in financial analysis to aid informed decision-making.
