Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will oversee regional accounts utilizing Seequent's geological modeling, analysis, visualization, and decision-making software. The role aims to drive sustainable and long-term revenue growth by cultivating existing accounts and identifying new opportunities. Collaborating closely with the Manager of Account Management, you will strategize to deepen the adoption of Seequent solutions and expand business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support the Manager of Account Management in executing sales initiatives to achieve company growth and profitability goals.
- Maintain comprehensive oversight of all activities concerning assigned accounts and identify key contacts to foster business opportunities.
- Interpret customers’ technical challenges and needs, coordinating with internal teams to advance these prospects.
- Lead negotiations and finalize contracts for business-to-business sales engagements.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation, acting as a champion for CRM data integrity.
- Participate in monthly sales meetings and annual target forecasting for assigned accounts.
- Provide clients regular reports detailing their software usage.
- Organize and lead quarterly meetings with clients to review account progress.
- Analyze and quantify potential business opportunities within current accounts.
- Ensure all opportunities are thoroughly documented within the CRM to facilitate precise sales forecasting.
- Work collaboratively with sales teams and technical specialists to evaluate and prioritize pipeline prospects.
- Develop a fundamental understanding of Seequent's software product benefits through training and self-learning.
- Gather customer feedback about product use and relay insights to relevant business units while updating CRM accordingly.
- Maintain a high-level grasp of Seequent’s mining solutions value propositions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in software and/or geosciences sectors.
- Proven expertise in enterprise-level sales and solution-based selling.
- Strong account management and negotiation skills, capable of formulating and implementing strategic account plans involving multiple stakeholders.
- Track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, decision-making, and prioritization abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Proactive and improves processes through continuous learning.
- Fluency in Arabic (native-level proficiency) is required; additional proficiency in Turkish and/or French is advantageous.
