Role Overview
McCann Auckland is seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to join their client service team. This role is ideal for a passionate individual ready to step beyond the Account Executive level, supporting a fast-paced, hands-on portfolio centered around a major New Zealand retail and brand client. The position demands proactivity, curiosity, initiative, outstanding attention to detail, and a strong work ethic coupled with a vibrant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding daily operational matters.
- Manage and oversee projects from briefing through execution to final delivery, ensuring smooth workflows.
- Provide support and updates to the Account Director and Group Business Director.
- Collaborate closely with creative, production, studio, and other agency teams to deliver high-quality, effective communication solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 2-3 years of experience within an advertising agency, typically at the Account Executive level, with readiness to advance.
- Have experience balancing both retail and brand work, adept at managing multiple fast-turnaround tasks.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder relationship-building and maintenance skills.
- Exhibit excellent time management and meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain a solutions-oriented mindset as well as a curious, collaborative, and proactive attitude.
