Job description

About GoodFit

GoodFit supports businesses by enabling them to identify their target leads more efficiently and effectively using data-driven methods. Instead of relying heavily on sales representatives to find prospects manually, GoodFit crafts tailored datasets by filtering accounts that match a company's unique criteria and enriching them with relevant data points. This approach helps companies focus their sales efforts on the most promising clients and deliver more compelling sales messages.

Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Solutions, Sales, and leadership teams to increase client engagement and adoption of GoodFit's data solutions that power go-to-market (GTM) strategies. The position offers extensive experience developing core commercial skills across the entire client lifecycle. You will have frequent interaction with both new and existing clients and work alongside the product team to influence the product roadmap based on client feedback and commercial needs.

You will engage with senior leaders at rapidly expanding B2B companies—such as Clari, Chili Piper, Deepgram, and Paddle—helping them understand and leverage GoodFit’s data in sales and marketing efforts. Part of your role is also to broaden outreach within client organizations by identifying new internal users and cultivating customer advocates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide new customers through onboarding and delivery of their GoodFit datasets, advising on configuration and best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing consultative guidance, challenging client assumptions, and refining their GTM approaches.
  • Ensure the targeted market mapping and data enrichment consistently align with clients' GTM goals, emphasizing value in reaching the right customers with the right messages.
  • Assist customers in integrating GoodFit data into their tools like CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), sales sequencing platforms (Salesloft, Lemlist), and data warehouses (Snowflake).
  • Serve as the customers’ voice by communicating feedback to engineering and product teams to support continuous product enhancement.
  • Maintain up-to-date internal and external documentation of best practices and typical solutions.
  • Manage renewal and expansion opportunities, maximizing GoodFit's value delivery to existing clients.

Candidate Profile

  • Energetic and commercially-minded professional enthusiastic about GTM operations and client success.
  • Experience in sales, growth, or account management within SaaS or data-driven industries is highly valued.
  • Skilled in cultivating strong stakeholder relationships and understanding client purchasing structures.
  • Passionate about innovative software products and contributing ideas for product improvements.
  • A proactive learner who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, eagerly seeking challenges and growth opportunities.
  • Excited by both day-to-day commercial activities and structuring processes or frameworks.

Recruitment Process

  • Initial 30-minute phone call to introduce the role and team.
  • 30-minute deep-dive interview with the Chief Revenue Officer focusing on experience, motivation, and role fit.
  • One-hour presentation and discussion of a take-home task.
  • 30-minute informal meeting with future team members.

Benefits and Working Conditions

  • Competitive base salary with on-target earnings (OTE).
  • 38 days of annual leave including bank holidays.
  • Pet-friendly London headquarters featuring gym and shower facilities.
  • Employee share option plan (EMI scheme).
  • Robust pension plan including salary sacrifice option.
  • Enhanced parental leave and support for return-to-work.
  • Private health insurance.
  • Subsidized gym memberships.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • £1,500 annual learning and development budget.
  • Quarterly offsite team gatherings.
  • Regular social events and team activities.
