Job description
Role Overview
As an Account Manager at FE fundinfo, you will be responsible for fostering trusted relationships with financial services clients, driving business growth, and helping clients leverage innovative investment data and technology products effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of important client accounts by nurturing strong stakeholder ties, ensuring client retention, and supporting revenue expansion.
- Gain deep insights into clients’ challenges and needs to tailor solutions and maximize the value derived from FE fundinfo's suite of products and services.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and advance opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, while keeping an accurate sales pipeline updated and aiding revenue targets.
- Handle contract renewals, negotiate pricing, manage amendments and cancellations, and ensure all client interactions and opportunities are diligently tracked in Salesforce.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Data departments to create effective solutions that meet client needs and support new business initiatives.
- Continuously monitor account health, pipeline activities, and potential client risks, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products, the industry landscape, and market trends.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 4 years of experience in account management, customer success, relationship management, pre-sales, or other client-facing commercial roles.
- Demonstrates capability in understanding client requirements, spotting new opportunities, and recommending impactful solutions.
- Exhibits excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational abilities with skill in balancing multiple priorities within a fast-moving environment.
- Has an interest in financial services and technology; prior exposure to financial software, data feeds, APIs, or similar technologies is advantageous.
- Shows strong commercial awareness, proactive attitude, confidence in opportunity identification, process improvement, and relationship building.
