Role Overview
As an Account Manager on Vanta’s Growth UK&I team, you will be entrusted with nurturing and expanding relationships within a specific portfolio of customers. Your role will serve as the main contact post-sale, managing commercial interactions such as renewals and upselling opportunities. Acting as a trusted consultant, you will deeply grasp customers' business objectives and align Vanta's offerings to help advance their compliance and security initiatives, aiming to maximize net revenue retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Forge and sustain strong client partnerships by acting as a strategic advisor for assigned accounts.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Vanta’s current and upcoming products to confidently address customer inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to assess client health, ensure strategic alignment, and communicate effectively with accounts.
- Create and execute account plans identifying opportunities to broaden customers’ usage of Vanta’s solutions, including new compliance frameworks and security tools.
- Manage sales cycles for expansions and renewals from initiation to closure, involving internal stakeholders as needed.
- Provide precise monthly forecasts on expansions and churn while maintaining an accurate Salesforce database with diligent pipeline management.
- Maintain a client-centric, consultative approach to solution design, prioritizing customer needs.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of experience selling to or managing customer accounts.
- Fluent in English with proficiency in a second European language preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in the London office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) as part of a hybrid schedule.
- Demonstrated competence in prospecting and independently building sales pipelines without BDR or inbound support.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and visual, tailored for both internal teams and customer-facing interactions.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability.
- Adept at collaborating across multiple departments such as Customer Success, Marketing, Enablement, and Support.
- Previous experience in security and compliance sectors is advantageous but not required.
- Willing and curious to leverage AI technologies to enhance productivity and impact, applying them responsibly.
