About the Role
DYCS Warehousing FZCO is expanding its commercial team in Dubai, UAE, seeking a seasoned Account Manager specializing in Freight, Express, and Logistics. This role transcends traditional account servicing, focusing on leveraging an existing client portfolio to generate immediate revenue. The ideal candidate must possess deep insights into the UAE and GCC logistics markets and maintain robust customer relations.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
- Effectively manage and grow an active book of business within the UAE/GCC region.
- Leverage strong customer relationships to secure and expand accounts.
- Sell comprehensive logistics solutions including Air Freight, Sea Freight, Express Courier services, and explore opportunities in Road Freight, Warehousing, and 3PL.
- Utilize commercial acumen to understand pricing dynamics, margin management, and profitability considerations.
- Open new business avenues, convert prospects into clients, and nurture account growth.
Candidate Requirements
- 6 to 8+ years of practical experience in freight forwarding, express courier, or logistics sales in the UAE market.
- Possession of an active client portfolio within the UAE and GCC is essential.
- Demonstrated success in securing and expanding customer accounts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Express Courier logistics solutions.
- Familiarity with Road Freight, Warehousing, and 3PL services is highly advantageous.
- Commercially savvy with a solid grasp of pricing strategies, margins, and profitability.
- Preference for candidates holding a valid UAE driving license and owning a vehicle.
- Current residency in the UAE is required.
