Account Manager

About the Role

KYM, a Singapore-based early-stage company focusing on payments and identity solutions, seeks a junior Account Manager. This position involves direct collaboration with the founder to cultivate relationships within the payments ecosystem. The role includes training and hands-on involvement in research, outreach, and initial client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research to develop targeted account lists in the payments and fintech sectors.
• Identify appropriate contacts within target organizations for communication.
• Execute consistent outbound communications via email and LinkedIn.
• Host initial calls following an internal qualification framework and training.
• Document each conversation promptly in a standardized format.
• Transfer qualified accounts to the founder, prepped with necessary groundwork.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records.
• Monitor trends and developments in the payments and AI commerce landscape.

Candidate Profile

• Experience ranging from fresh graduates to those with up to 2 years in relevant roles.
• Proficient and clear writing skills in English for frequent email and note composition.
• Resilience to handle repeated rejections and maintain outreach efforts.
• Highly organized with the ability to maintain documentation without supervision.
• Keen interest in understanding payments, with a willingness to learn and seek information when unsure.

Education and Eligibility

• Degree holder in business, finance, economics, or similar fields.
• Open exclusively to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents; no work pass sponsorship available.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Previous internship or part-time experience in sales, business development, research, or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
