Job description

About the Role

Join Rooftop Twenty Two, a growing digital marketing agency located in Glasnevin, Dublin. The agency is a close-knit team of fourteen professionals collaborating with various Irish businesses. As an Account Manager, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, leading their day-to-day marketing efforts across paid media, SEO, social media, email, design, video, and web activities. This role requires hands-on involvement with marketing tasks, alongside coordinating with internal specialists when deeper expertise is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for multiple clients across different sectors and service areas.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's business, objectives, and challenges to build strong relationships.
  • Lead client meetings and calls by setting agendas, managing discussions, and clarifying next steps and deliverables.
  • Proactively propose ideas and suggestions rather than just responding to client requests.
  • Explain how marketing efforts contribute to clients’ broader business goals.
  • Create detailed briefs for internal teams in design, paid media, SEO, video, and development.
  • Plan, write, and oversee social media content for client accounts.
  • Manage email campaigns, reports, presentations, and client communications.
  • Execute basic website and content updates as needed.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots with the in-house content team.
  • Monitor progress of ongoing work and ensure completion of assigned actions.
  • Review deliverables before client submission to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality.
  • Track performance metrics across paid media, SEO, social, and web analytics, and communicate insights in accessible language.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferably between one and three years of marketing experience, ideally within an agency environment to handle a fast-paced and varied workload. Candidates earlier in their careers may be considered if they demonstrate practical experience and sound judgment.
  • Strong foundational knowledge across digital marketing disciplines including paid media, SEO, social media, email, website management, and analytics.
  • Experience engaging with clients or external partners directly.
  • Confidence in leading conversations and quick thinking during discussions.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Competence in developing or managing social media content.
  • Ability to interpret marketing performance data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Good creative and marketing judgment.
  • Willingness to actively participate in the execution of marketing tasks.

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with project management software such as ClickUp, Asana, or equivalents.
  • Experience with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), or SEMrush.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms.
  • Skills in basic website content management system (CMS) updates.
  • Background in organizing photo and video production shoots.
  • Practical use of AI-powered tools like ChatGPT or Claude in daily work.

Work Ethic and Environment

We value curiosity and a drive to learn. Candidates should thrive in fast-moving environments, remain composed under pressure, and take ownership without needing close supervision. Early communication about potential risks is essential. We emphasize that marketing activities should directly support the client’s business outcomes, not merely generate isolated activity.

We are actively integrating AI technologies into our workflow and appreciate team members who are eager to explore and adapt to such innovations.

Benefits and Culture

  • Private health insurance following successful probation.
  • Employer contributions to pension plans after probation.
  • Annual company charity day chosen collaboratively, dedicated to giving back.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, combining remote and onsite work at our Glasnevin office.
  • Access to specialists across paid media, SEO, design, development, video, and strategy.
  • Opportunity to gain practical experience with emerging AI tools transforming the industry.
  • Clear opportunities for career progression as the agency expands.
  • A supportive and close team environment focused on quality work and collective success.
