Job description
About Xelix
Xelix collaborates with major global corporations to enhance and automate financial control processes through AI-driven solutions. Our technology transforms Accounts Payable teams by shifting from manual methods to intelligent automated workflows.
We are a rapidly growing scale-up with a team of 150 dedicated professionals committed to fast-paced innovation and high achievement. Following our Series B funding round with Insight Partners in June 2025, we are expanding swiftly and encourage ownership, quick action, and impactful contributions while fostering both personal and professional development in an enjoyable work atmosphere.
Position Overview
We seek an experienced Account Executive to join our pioneering sales team at this dynamic startup stage. We prioritize thoughtful, intelligent sales professionals who cultivate trust and build meaningful relationships with potential clients rather than relying on aggressive sales tactics.
This role offers potential career growth into leadership managing Account Executive teams or continuing as a key individual contributor closing major deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted consultant focusing on identifying and closing new business opportunities with prospective customers.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of leads at different phases of the sales process, generated through Xelix’s partner channels.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of customer challenges to create tailored finance transformation strategies utilizing Xelix products.
- Track and predict sales activities and opportunities through disciplined execution of Xelix’s sales methodologies and procedures.
- Participate in face-to-face meetings at client locations and attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build and maintain lasting relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least two years of experience successfully closing SaaS software deals.
- Proficient in sales frameworks such as MEDDICC or similar approaches.
- Experienced with managing extended, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to independently generate and develop sales pipelines.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in technology sectors.
- Background selling solutions to senior finance executives, notably CFOs.
Desirable Attributes
- Specific expertise in the Accounts Payable domain.
- Multilingual capabilities are considered advantageous.
Customer Segments
Our customer classifications are based on annual revenue rather than employee count:
- Mid-Market: Up to £1 billion in revenue.
- Small Enterprise: £1 billion to £5 billion revenue.
- Large Enterprise/Strategic: £5 billion or more, involving complex, multi-stakeholder and international operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting base salary of £50,000 with on-target earnings capable of doubling total compensation.
- 27 days paid annual leave including a 3-day Christmas shutdown; up to 3 days of leave can be carried over.
- Hybrid working model with three days weekly onsite at the dog-friendly office featuring an on-site gym.
- Comprehensive private medical and dental insurance via Vitality.
- Enhanced parental leave financial support.
- Annual £1,000 allowance for personal learning and development.
- Commitment to carbon neutrality with active reduction initiatives.
- Regular team social events and an annual team retreat.
