Role Summary

The Account Executive will lead efforts to acquire new business and increase revenue in the EMEA region, collaborating with senior leadership to shape and execute growth strategies. This position combines strategic sales, relationship management, and market expansion responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and new client accounts across EMEA.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop account strategies that drive pipeline growth and timely deal closure.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of client business operations and connect them with high-value solutions beyond technology alone.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to ensure successful delivery of client proposals and sales propositions.
  • Build and maintain strategic executive relationships with new accounts, both direct and reseller partnerships.
  • Qualify prospects based on Kinaxis' solution fit and relevance.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports based on realistic timelines.
  • Share field insights and product improvement recommendations with internal teams.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in selling strategic, enterprise-level mission-critical solutions such as Supply Chain Management (SCM), ERP, or Business Intelligence (BI).
  • Proven sales background in industries like High Tech Electronics, Industrial Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, or similar manufacturing sectors with potential to lead industry vertical sales.
  • Degree holder, with preference given to candidates experienced in supply chain management.
  • Self-motivated achiever with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in new or emerging markets, especially with leading or "Best of Breed" technologies.
  • Successful history of closing new accounts and operating across varied European markets and geographies involving complex deals.
  • Capability to engage and sell to executive-level decision makers across multiple internal functions such as Manufacturing Operations, Demand Management, Finance, and IT.
  • Expertise in consultative selling focused on value proposition and business cases.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills characterized by clarity, persuasion, and passion.
  • Independent, proactive working style with availability to travel approximately 50% of the time as needed.
