Job Overview
The Account Executive is tasked with overseeing the daily financial functions at an automotive service center, ensuring smooth and accurate processing of billing, vendor payments, customer accounts, taxation duties, and the upkeep of financial records for punctual and precise accounting activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage customer receivables by monitoring outstanding payments and pursuing collections.
- Record and process various payment methods including cash, card, UPI, and online transactions.
- Perform daily reconciliation of billing data against system reports to ensure accuracy.
- Handle vendor-related payables by processing invoices, maintaining purchase documentation, and coordinating payments following approvals.
- Reconcile supplier ledgers regularly to maintain alignment of records.
- Execute accounting tasks such as journal entries, expense bookings, and maintenance of ledgers including cash book, bank book, and general ledger.
- Conduct both daily and monthly account reconciliations to support financial accuracy.
- Assist with monthly closing procedures to finalize accounts on time.
- Support taxation processes by preparing GST billing data, filing support documentation, and maintaining statutory and audit records.
- Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and regulatory compliance regarding taxation and record-keeping.
- Prepare and share daily collection reports for monitoring purposes.
- Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports to facilitate management oversight.
- Monitor key financial metrics such as workshop revenue, insurance claims, and credit billing activity.
Compensation
The role offers a monthly salary ranging between 12000 and 20000 INR.
