Job description
Role Overview
The Account Executive will manage comprehensive accounting tasks excluding Accounts Receivable while ensuring timely submission of GST returns every quarter. This position involves preparing regular financial reports and schedules, maintaining precise journal entries, and performing monthly reconciliations. Coordination with external auditors during the financial year-end audit and managing staff reimbursements are key functions. Additionally, the role requires maintaining organized documentation and liaising with banking institutions when needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage full accounting records except for Accounts Receivable.
- Submit GST returns on a quarterly basis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial documentation and account schedules.
- Ensure accurate journal entries and perform monthly account reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for the annual financial audit.
- Handle processing of employee reimbursement claims.
- Maintain systematic documentation and filing procedures.
- Interact with banking partners as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
- Positive attitude paired with collaborative working skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum educational attainment is a Diploma in Accounting.
