Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our Wellington office. This role involves collaborating on significant social behaviour change initiatives, fostering teamwork to deliver outstanding creative solutions, acting as a trusted business leader for both client and agency, and playing an instrumental role in identifying and driving new and organic business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the McCann team on pivotal social behaviour change projects within New Zealand.
• Promote teamwork and inspire colleagues to produce exceptional and effective creative outcomes.
• Serve as a central business leader, earning the trust and confidence of clients and agency members.
• Contribute to agency growth by recognizing and pursuing new and organic business opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Possess substantial and relevant experience from comparable senior client service roles or equivalent client-side positions.
• Value and maintain trusted relationships with outstanding communication skills.
• Exhibit strategic thinking capabilities, support creativity, and demonstrate proficient negotiation skills.
• Be a proactive self-starter, motivated to achieve effective outcomes beneficial to both clients and the agency.
• Enjoy problem-solving and have instinctive decision-making abilities.
