Job Overview
We are seeking a Retail Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks in a retail environment, including billing, sales, and purchase recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting duties related to retail sales and purchases.
- Maintain accurate records using Tally software, GST filings, accounts management, and MS Excel spreadsheets.
- Reconcile transactions from sales, cash, UPI payments, and credit entries to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee supplier payments, maintain party ledgers, and manage outstanding balances.
- Verify purchase invoices and check stock entries for any discrepancies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in retail store accounting is mandatory.
- Good understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and billing procedures.
