About the Role
2COMS Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic and goal-driven individuals to join our team as Academic Counselors at our Salt Lake, Sector 5 office in Kolkata. The role involves engaging with prospective students through telephonic communication and guiding them through course and program selections that align with their career aspirations. Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, while those with over six months of experience in outbound calling, inside sales, customer support, or educational counseling will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage both incoming and outgoing calls with student prospects.
- Assess candidates' needs and offer detailed information about suitable educational programs.
- Counsel applicants on appropriate courses and career pathways.
- Maintain follow-ups using calls, WhatsApp, and other communication means to nurture leads.
- Convert potential candidates into confirmed enrollments and admissions.
- Meet monthly targets related to calls, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Accurately record candidate data and lead information in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth enrollment and onboarding processes.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with candidates through the entire admission journey.
- Ensure prompt follow-up actions and effective management of all leads.
Candidate Profile
- Entry-level candidates or those with a minimum of six months' experience in outbound telecalling or inside sales are preferred.
- Backgrounds in target-oriented calling, sales, customer support, education counseling, BPO, or similar sectors are advantageous.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities are required.
- Confidence when interacting over phone calls with students and their guardians.
- Ability to handle follow-ups and meet conversion targets persistently.
- A positive mindset, eagerness to learn, and comfort working in a target-driven environment.
Compensation
The monthly salary ranges between 25,000 and 30,000 Indian Rupees.
