Academic Counselor

About the Role

KodeToCareer (K2C) is seeking a motivated and articulate Academic Counselor to join their team in the Delhi/NCR region. This role involves guiding students and working professionals to select the ideal technology programs that align with their individual career objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Respond to student inquiries via phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication platforms.
• Assess the educational backgrounds and career aspirations of prospective students.
• Clearly communicate details regarding KodeToCareer courses, including curriculum, projects, training approaches, and subsequent career paths.
• Convert qualified prospects into enrolled students through persuasive counseling.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with interested candidates and foster ongoing communication.
• Conduct informative counseling sessions aiding students in making well-informed course selections.
• Keep accurate records of leads and admissions.
• Meet or exceed monthly targets related to admissions and counseling activities.
• Collaborate with academic and training teams as necessary.
• Develop and maintain positive, supportive relationships with students throughout the enrollment process.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Fluency in Hindi, English, and Hinglish is mandatory.
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in education or sales roles.
• Comfortable using phone, WhatsApp, and Google Meet for communication.
• Basic proficiency in Google Sheets and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities paired with empathy.

Additional Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in the EdTech industry.
• Ability to produce content in Hinglish.
• Background in digital marketing.

Compensation and Work Details

This is a position offering full-time or part-time engagement with a monthly salary range from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000, supplemented by performance-based bonuses. The job location supports a hybrid work format within Delhi/NCR.
