Job Overview

The role of AC Technician involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and related equipment to ensure optimal operation within hotel premises. The technician will troubleshoot HVAC issues, perform preventative maintenance, and manage repairs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Duties

• Install, service, and fix air conditioning systems and associated equipment.
• Identify and resolve faults within HVAC systems for reliable performance.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures.
• Replace or repair damaged components like compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Inspect and test electrical circuits and parts to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Clean and maintain air filters, coils, and other system elements to uphold air quality.
• Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair activities.
• Respond swiftly to urgent repair needs as they arise.
• Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and other departments for effective task completion.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years’ experience in HVAC maintenance within hotels, resorts, or large commercial settings.
• Relevant technical certification such as ITI, HVAC, or Refrigeration Engineering is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to HVAC systems.
• Experience in resorts, preferably in the Maldives, is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation, and dedication to guest satisfaction.
